Ski Trip to Chamonix, and a Goodbye to Kevin

We had a work/ski trip to Chamonix in the Alps this weekend but Randy called me Saturday morning that his cousin Kevin had lost his battle with cancer. It really deflated me after reading all of Kim's updates on the caringbridge site and hoping along with her and everyone else that he would find a way to beat this. So young and such a giant of a man that it just does not seem possible that he could be beaten down by this. My prayers go out to Kim and the children.

It's not much, but the girls and I hiked to the top of Mont Blanc and left Kevin a little message.

We flew to Geneva, and then took a bus to Mont-Blanc about an hour away. The Club Med was in a quaint little village high in the Alps. The views were breathtaking, although I will admit I spent more time shopping and in the spa than I did on the slopes. MORE PICTURES
